  - 11 May: Conference for board members of International Committees, Oslo. Themes: Blue Shield, Reform Task Force, General Conference in Barcelona.
  - 23 April: Annual meeting, Skien. Theme: ICOM´s Professional Code of Ethics, by Geoffrey Lewis.

2001:
  - 25-27 April, ICOM Nord, Gentofte, Copenhagen, Denmark. Meeting for Chairs and secretaries of the national Committees of Sweden, Finland, Iceland, Denmark and Norway. Main themes: ICOM´s main programme acitivities, Reform Task Force, Code of Ethics and the General Conference in Barcelona. Exchange of information about the work of the Nordic National Committees.
  2002:
  - 18-29 April, ICOM Nord, Helsinki, Finland. Main themes: ICOM Europe and the cooperation between ICOM Denmarkand ICOM Sweden to apply for the General Conference of ICOM 2007. The National Committees exchanged information about their work. From Norway special information on the Reform Task Force was given.
  2003:
  - 24-27 April, ICOM Nord, Iceland. Main themes: Nomination for the Executive Council of ICOM, meeting of the Advisory Committee and candidates for the General Conference 2007 and translation of ICOM´s Code of Ethics. Exchange of information about the work of the Nordic National Committees.

The lack of activities is due to the celebration of the Constitution Day of Norway 17 May.
 
5 Programme for the emergency situations:
  2001:
  - 10 May: Conference of Blue Shield, Oslo, calling for national plan for safeguarding cultural heritage in emergency situations.
  2002:
  - Initiatives towards the government on the ratification of the UNESCO´s Convention on Illicit Traffic.
  2003:
  - 14 May: Conference of Blue Shield, Oslo: Themes: Norwegian aid to Iraq’s cultural heritage, education of military personnel in peacekeeping service. Various following-up activities. Renewed request for ratification of Haag Convention and UNESCO Convention.
 
6 Participation to the ICOM Triennial Programme:
 
Membershipership
  - The number of members has increased from 419 I 2001 to 482 by the end of 2003.
Code of Ethics
  - Campaign to spread information about ICOM´s Code of Ethics, funded by ABM (Norwegian Museum Authority).
ICOM-RTF
  - The board has since the establishment of the ICOM-RTF discussed issues connected to the strategic objectives of ICOM as a part of the reform prosess. The chair until 2002, Knut Wiik, has been a member of ICOM-RTF on International Committees. Per Rekdal has been a member of RTF on National Committees.
